Process

Every engagement is different, but here’s a typical outline of how XEN helps companies:

  1. Initial 15 minute phone call
    We discuss your high level goals and work out whether it is appropriate to proceed (we also check any conflicts of interest).
  2. Initial analysis
    Usually a 4-8 hour exercise where we perform a detailed analysis of your current site, investigate competitors, understand goals, highlight areas of opportunity, prepare a baseline of current rankings, and outline a suggested strategy.
  3. Commence work (either remotely or onsite)
  4. Weekly reviews and updates on ranking, traffic generation and goal progress
  5. Monthly progress reports and ongoing suggestions

Typical Engagement

A typical engagement starts with a 4-8 hour analysis, and continues with 4-8 hours of work each week for the first month. After the first month goals are reviewed, priorities assessed and ongoing work agreed.

Smaller businesses see benefit within a 1 month timeframe and can either take over ongoing processes internally themselves or utilise XEN in an ongoing capacity.

Medium businesses also see benefits within 1 month, but usually continue with ongoing optimisation and incorporating the next highest priority goals into the ongoing strategy. For medium businesses maximum benefit is achieved when multiple strategies are combined as part of a longer term engagement.
